Question Cost to install 2" spacers and shocks?

I just bought some 2" spacers and new shocks to level out my truck. How much do you think someone would charge to put them in? Thanks in advance.

Why pay someone? I just did mine last week and it was fairly easy. Does require some special tools, though. Figure on paying a shop at least 1.5 hours labor to do it. Average hourly shop rates are between $55-75 per hour.

hey you well pay more in labor than u did for the kit a besides its easy

I couldn't get the axle to drop low enough to get the springs back in with the spacers installed. Didn't want to disconnect the track bar and fight with it by myself so I went to Autozone and borrowed their spring compressor. Also, you need a 3-ton floor jack and a good set of jack stands. A creeper is a plus, as well. Not exactly things every home wrench has or knows how to use. Because of the potential for injury and/or damage I suggest anyone not knowing what they're doing have someone else install the kit so long as the shop isn't trying to rape you. I did mine in 3.5 hours in my driveway using hand tools, taking my sweet time and including running to Autozone for the spring tools. A decent shop should be able to do this in 2 hours or less.

just make shore u tightin them evenly and use the heavey duty ones i had a set go boom in my face not to fun

I completely agree, but to answer the question he asked, the answer is still none.
