4.10 will be good for 33's... im going 4.56 when i get 33's so i can have alot more torque....as for lockers i think ive seen people praise ARB lockers...but i cant swear by them personally

Lockers are primarily for the front or for the rear on trucks that will only ever be driven off-road. 4.10 is OK for those 33s, but any larger and you might want to consider 4.56.

Detroit locker and 4.56! In the rear. Leave the front alone.

Depends what axle you have. I believe the 4X2 has the corporate 9.5" axle and will not accept 4.56 gears.

ok first off, i dont mean to sound like a dick or anything, but its a two wheel drive, putting a 3.5 lift, 33inch tires, a locker, better gears... i dont commend any of this... its a two wheel drive... i am a strong believer that there should be no half ton trucks with 2wheel drive.. 2500 and 3500 ok, because they have the cummins and thats a haullin truck, but what the heck are you going to do with a two wheel drive in the mud, or rocks, or anything... maybe the sand though... but your in TX, no sand as far as i know. just wide open plains, i mean i have gone there before and gone to twin buttes. nothing short of a 44" twin locked rig is goin anywhere there...

but as for the gears, if i was going to give advise, i would say just go with 4.56, over geared isnt to bad... the highways arnt THAT long out there in steer country...

and as for making yoru truck seem like it has more power. the 4.56 will help that.... big time with 33" tires

I'd go 4.56 as well as 4.27 would probably be ideal but isn't available for the 9.25

Also as far as lockers I'd go for the detroit locker. They're bomb proof. That's the only one they make for the 9.25 I'd even use.
