If at night, it will help illuminate the cab of the vehicle.

Contrary to popular thought, when a cop pulls you over, they use a part of your car to see what you are doing.

When you get pulled over, and the cop is behind you, they flip on their spotlight. If your side mirror is in place, they will shine the light on that. This will put light in the cab, and allows them to make sure you aren't doing something you shouldn't.

It's a courtesy thing, and 9 out of 10 cops will appreciate you for it.

I say this because most people that I have talked to about this, don't understand why most states don't have a limit on the % of the film for your back glass, and they have strict limits on your sides. That is the reason behind the limits.

I completely forgot about Philly. The only Philly I want is a Philly cheese steak sandwich. I hear the city of "brotherly love" isn't so "brotherly" or "loving". Places like Phylli, Chicago, New York, I stay out of. Los Angeles I can handle because I know my turf, but foreign places, I don't know and I don't want to learn the hard way.

Didn't say it was in my truck, was a 68 Firebird 400.
