I'll tell you what I got a problem with, emailing inactive/former members to try and scrounge up a few votes. Funny how a lot of inactive Dakota owners logged in, voted, and disappeared in the last 18 hours.

I was just a little fired up. I don't really intend for my posts to **** everyone and their neighbors off. I did have to get off of here and cool off for a bit. (went out and sweated my *** off trying to pull the head off of a tractor) I have calmed down quite a bit.

My reply to Blown might have been in haste, but I saw what happened in the 3rd gen TOTM thread. I did not want that happening here.
That in a nut shell is why I jumped him.

As for my ity bity truck committee comment, I say that in a joking manner. I think that everyone forgets at some point that written words, have little to no insight as to what the tone of the author is.

For the millionth time, I will say this again: In reality, I am a very dry person, people that talk to me have a hard time trying to figure out if I am being serious or joking.
Take my posts with a grain of salt. I may come across as an *** when you first talk to me, but I will lighten up once I know you.

And lastly, I apologize to those that I may or may not have offended. This is a forum, and I merely stated what was on my mind at the moment.

It may be too late, but I am asking everyone to NOT email inactive members and get them to vote in TOTM. We are not playing that game, it's just TOTM.

 

Grade school is alive and well on the internet.

 

Not to worry, this issue will in fact be very MUCH addressed..

 

Seems like the uproar about TOTM, has put a blind over VOTM.
Almost twice as many votes for totm as there are for votm.
