Default I love this lift kit

So tonight about 7ish Tornado warning go off like crazy and it down pours for about 30 min and the roads were filled to the nuts with water. so of course i had to go play

I was Going through the deepest parts of the road while everyone else chickened out and went to the low side.

Best part was i went through some parking lots and i saw a ford explorer driving in the water then he sank and buried the hood and stalled.
So just to make him feel better I drove about 6 inches in front of him and played in the water with no problems

Good times Good times

If a Ford Explorer buried its hood in water and you drove right up to him, I sure hope you have, oh, say 25+ inches of lift, otherwise you are in for troubles.

These trany's are not waterproof, and once the water level is not much over the floor boards you can plan on it sucking up water. I would check your fluid asap, and if it resembles something like pepto bismo, she's fawked.

And if you dont have 25" of lift, I am guessing your carpet (and seats) are pretty much soaked?

Well for his sig he is sitting on 35" and a 5" lift. So he would still be in a lot of water. Yea an explores hood is at mid door on my stock ram.

Explorers are low. I know I own one. I was surprised when I did the first oil change that I can't fit under it

yeah sorry for not having pics. didnt have a camera with me i didnt expect it to be bad. just thought i woukd share my story

And for the explorer... He was pushing the water with with his grill and ended up getting to much speed and he pushed it up over his hood. not like he was sitting in window high water. it was probably about midway up his grill.... Which is about where my rock panels are

Now more thunder storms and flash flood warnings again tonight....It actually just started raining
