those "sport" models look like they have painted slt bumpers, whats up with that? nice truck btw.

Yup. 1994-1998 sport models had the same bumpers as non-sports, but they were painted to match the rest of the truck.
1999-2001 were the sports with the completely different front bumpers.

Don't think he is going to put them on anytime soon. He needs to keep his truck clean! Smooth body lines.
