Default Will a 1999 sport front bumper fit on a 1996 ram sport

I have a Dodge Ram 1500 Sport and I want to get a new front bumper and was looking into getting the 99-01 front sport bumper but was unsure if it would fit. Does anyone know?

Yes, you just need a 99-01 Sport grille.

You will need all the brackets and mounting hardware as well, as they are different between sports and non-sports.

LMC truck has them, if you can't find them anywhere else.

Here's some illustrations from LMC to show you the difference...

Thats a normal bumper. Below is a sport.

Good luck finding one used. New or used they are not cheap. My dad called his parts guy about the bumper, and the last one they were able to find used cost a guy $700 for everything.

If you're planning on dumping a decent amount of cash into a bumper I'd go with a winch bumper from ranchhand or buckstop. Those things are bullet proof, and they look cool too.
