leveling kit
I want to add a 5" lift to my 1998 dodge ram 2500 360 quad cab. I seen a skyjacker kit someplace that will add 5" to the front and 5" to the rear. My main question is do I need to level out the front end 2" first so it will sit level with the kit on? Also where can I get the cheapest leveling kit and how hard is it to install? I want to run 35X 12.50 tires on it after the lift is installed. Thanks guys.

You wont need a leveling kit. If you get a 5" Skyjacker kit, it will lift the truck 5" in the front and only 3-4" in the back to level it out. The cheaper ones will come with a block/add-a-leaf, while the more expensive ones will come with new leafs.
35's and 5" is a good combo, but plan on re-gearing.
