What should i replace while front end is apart?

Default What should i replace while front end is apart?

my friend gave me some metal 2" leveling spacers for my 95 ram 1500 2wd 5.2 w/ 149k miles. and im curious while i have the front end kind of apart what i should replace or check out. im already replacing the shocks but what else? also, do the metal coil spacers go below or on top of the coil springs?

check the ball joints and tie rod ends.. and re pack the wheel bearing if your looking for some thing to do


and maybe sum before and after pics

Perfect timing! I just added the Daystar 1.5" spacer to my 96 2WD. While I had everything apart, I replaced the following:

- Rotors (brake pads were new)
- Wheel bearings
- Ball joints
- Shocks

Other items I should have replaced while everything was torn down...

- lower control arm bushings
- outer tie rods
- sway bar bushings
