what way to go????
It's been my experience that most people that purchased the 2nd gen Rams bought them for something productive. To haul, for work, for off roading, etc. Few youngsters bought these Rams new. Most have gotten them second hand. Dodge Rams are an acquired taste like certain foods. Fords and Chevys have a broader appeal and thus more variations and modifications with those.
All of those trucks are still relatively functional (especially Indy's at a drag strip) and look good. My comments were more about trucks like this:
While fine in a show environment they are not exactly practical for much else. If you want to build a show truck, fine, but if you plan to drive it on the street it should have at least basic functionality. Just my 2 cents.

well when you drop a truck to the ground like that, usually the airbags are capable of bringing it up to a safe ride height (speed bump and small animal friendly)
but for the most part, the only things i like lowered old rat rods (i want one) and big tow rigs that pull 5th wheel trailers

awsome feedback guys really, thank you. i dont want to lower it to the ground i was thinking more like twisted metal, just enough to kill that fender gap, with some nice rims, flows, some HID lighting. And i got the truck because it was only 500.00 bucks!! im going to post some pics in another thread and you will see why i jumped on the deal.
i'm not a fan of lifting a 2wd because it would serve no purpose but i would like to level mine. it sits just slightly down in the front and it bothers the ever livin crap out of me. i dont think there's anything wrong with leveling a 2wd.
