Default One thing I've never done.

Obviously I own a 2nd gen Ram, can some one tell me how to check the tire pressure? I think the pressure is low in one of them, but I have no CEL to indicate any kind of problem and it runs likes a raped ape. Also the tire in question is only flat on the bottom, so I don't see where the problem is. TIA Z

You need to jack it up, crawl under it, look at the driveshaft, then take it to the dealer. Ask him for the helium fill, it will make the tires lighter and roll better. Don't forget to top off the radiator or it will pull to one side. BTW, this procedure is covered in the manual, buttmunch.

Make sure the sun visor is up before you follow Maimi's advice or it could blow the IAC and cause the CAT to short out

Moron, You should have used the damn search option first, I'm sure this stuff has been covered a million times.

I tried the search function but too many threads came up without an answer to my problem. And I do have a Haynes and a FSM , but the directions are confusing. I tried jacking it up and looking at the drive shaft, but I don't see the radiator or the helium pump. Please help, I need to use my truck for work Monday.

i have the same problem. i'm an ase certified mechanic but i only work on rocket powered diesel/electric cars and don't have a manual either. also my truck is running rough. do you think it runs rough because of the low tire pressure. my dealer told me all trucks have this problem. i also want bigger tires and louder mufflers. where can i get those.

Try the search button, it is very helpful. I finally found where the driveshaft connects to the radiator.

You need one of those fancy dancy tire pressure monitoring systems. Its the only way to check tire pressure accurately.

That means you'll also need new rims that support the sensors for the system and "run flat" tires that support the system. You'll also need the wiring and everything of course.

Your best course is to go to the dealership and ask them about it. Have them install it for you.
