Good for you. Not knowing what the engine problem is, you'll probably be stuck around $4k. If the problem is serious enough it could cost $2k or more to fix. How do you know you don't just have a sticking injector? I had that problem on my Cherokee and it was relatively cheap and easy to fix. I think it worthwhile to do some investigating. It could mean the difference between a low-ball offer and one that is closer to what it is worth.

not sure what the problem is. i replaced all the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, cleaned the injectors. im kinda lost for what the problem could be.

have you done a leak down test or a compresstion test?? you just need to replace the head if the head is cracked.... just a thought

with all you already have in it you ought to keep it and fix the missfire. especially since the problem is a huge reason why your selling it. i know a plugged cat can cause a missfire code, my sisters truck just got a new cat and it got rid of the missfire.

will a clogged cat throw a single cylinder code? or would it throw multiple? cuz to be honest, the sound comin from my flowmaster doesnt quite sound right. it sounds really bogged down and heavy. i also have absolutely no power. my 0-60 time used to be under 8 seconds easy. now id be lucky to do it in under 30 seconds.
