Default anyone else?

I have a 01 dodge ram 2500 v8. for as long as I have had the truck I have noticed this noise. I only hear it on acceleration and only when I just slowly pull away from the stop light ( keeping it under like 1500) I have never had a problem with the noise, no check engine light or anything but I also can't seem to find what would be making the noise. it sounds like water running. kind of like if someone upstairs flushed the toilet and you hear the water run down the drain in the wall from the main floor. It doesn't bother me but I'm just curious. anyone else ever have that problem?

It's air in the heater core. Normal.

air in the heater core eh, interesting. i would have never thought of that. do you think it could hurt the system if left unfixed? was there ever a recall?

it doesn't directly hurt anything, but it indicates you have problem with air in the system, either from a leak, or last time you opened up the system. in the winter it will interfere with the heat. check your overflow tank to be sure its at normal level. when cold, make sure radiator is full.
