The difference is that the HD 360 has an A.I.R sstem with 2 catalytic converters, and an air pump.

How sure are you that the HD 5.9L V8s have the 47RE? Everywhere I've looked has said they have the same 46RE tranny that the LDs do.

I was pretty sure, A former member here with a 2500 5.9 had a 47re, perhaps it varied with the model year.

The 360 never came with a 47RE.

I have the heavy duty 360 2500 and it has a 46 re. Also single(gutted) cat. I know I have a larger factory Trans cooler, but thats a tow package deal.

Correct, the 47re is a diesel or v10 tranny only
