I'm looking around for a programmer for my 1997 dodge ram 4x4 with the 5.9 motor. I'm getting 10.9 mpg city and looking for something get better mileage.

I've found the hypertech ECON and max energy. Has anyone used one of these? How is the power gains and mpg gains? Thanks

 

be careful with hypertech. i do not know if those two do it but i bought a power programmer 3 and it will not work in my truck because the computer was dealer flashed after the hypertech was made and all it does is say "calibration not found". dont buy a used one.
