track bar??
My track bar is shot and I am just looking to replace it and get a year out of it... My question is, what do you guys think or have experienced with this track bar?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ram-T...A1%7C72%3A1171
The price seems really really cheap BUT it does come with a 1 year warranty so it cant be that bad. Plus, I really doubt a company could get away with making a part that would lack in craftsmanship and put someone into danger... Im NOT looking to spend 200+ dollars on a track bar because I am only looking for something that will work for a year or two. Let me know what you guys think! thanks.

I highly doubt their 1 year warranty would mean anything. They'd probably take forever to respond to your claim, if they answered it at all, and when they did they'll probably find some way to blame the installation for the fault (even if the installation is perfect). A company like that isn't in the business of customer service, if they were, there is no way they'd make any money off those bars.
But backing up a step... let me get this straight, you're purchasing a bar just to get you through until you sell it, then pass a partially faulty truck onto another owner?

Think of someone besides yourself here.
Get a Moog track bar, they are decently priced and good. Roughly $160 + shipping from Rock Auto. Sure, they are more $$$, but then you, and probably the next owner as well, will not have to worry about the quality.

Moog , Spicer or TRW , only buy the ones that offer a lifetime warrenty . I have had the cheap stuff fail in 2 months and little use , garbage IMO . Why would I bring them back for more junk , that makes their warranty useless . I have a new economy track bar in the garage right now , got about 500 miles on it (installed by the PO with reciept). I replaced it with a Moog , along with some other parts . If shipping wasn't so expensive accross the boarder , you could have it , shipped in the Moog box , lol
Keeps the axle aligned, centered, properly so it does not move back and forth slightly, independently of the rest of the suspension.
