Default Another tire size question ????

I have a 2001 1500 Ram.
I´m rolling on 35´s now and I was thinking about putting it on 37´s

The question is, Do I have to change the ratio ?

Also, have you guys had problems with the transmission on 37" with stock ratio ?

And finally, What is the stock ratio in these cars ?

Sorry for bad english

Open yr glove box and see what the sticker says, you might have 4.10. If not you have 3.55. For 37" look at 4.88. And around 2k for gears installed.

on the transmision thing it don't matter if you have 10in. tires or 54in. tires you are gonna have trans problems these transmisions suck ***! but yes you need at least a 4.56 ratio on 37. my plans are 4.56 with 38's when i get my truck paid off. if your truck is just a regular 1500 and not an off road or anything you prally have 3.55 like me!

35= 4.56 37= 4.88. 4.56 and 37 is going so be nasty and kill the tranny!
