Default More Power?

I have a 1997 ram 318 2x4 that need just a little more pep. It has been a little sluggish for a while now. I went through 2 cat converters, plug change, then I replaced the plenum gskt last week, after the plenum, it feels like it might be running just the way it was when i bought it. But does anyone have any ideas for more power on a tight budget?

Need a little more pep? For ~$500 you can swap out the ring and pinion out back and get quite a bit of pep. I don't think there's anything short of nitrous that you can do for under a grand and notice so much of a change.

Get a free flowing muffler, and a Fastman bored out throttle body (not a TB spacer, those are junk).

read my sig. that is about 2 grand but my jeep gets up and goes. I would start off with a free flowing muffler or just change everything: headers, cat, and catback setup. Then i would get the K&N FIPK and Fastman 50mm TB then you could get the M1 intake. After all of that then go get a custom tune

If you have the time and patience make sure to get the exhaust you want welded in.
