I searched but couldn't find an answer. How much can I lift my truck without indexing the t/c or extending brakelines or the driveshafts. I'm wanting to do 6" in front and 4" in the back. I thought they made a 6" lift but all I could find is a 5.5". Also can anybody tell me how long their control arms are for a 5-6 inch lift I'm going to build my own.

 

3". 5" might be pushing it.

 

I think 5" is the max you can go without extending the driveshaft.

 

With a 5" lift you can just get an index ring tht will drop the angle of the front shaft. I would say 7" max for the rear shaft.

 

5.5" you have to grind your H-joint to keep it from binding but theres no mention of an indexing ring or replace of the drive shaft, that i know of atleast. I haven't installed mine yet though

Dude get the lift in the link above its a good lift. I would have tht one but my truck is the only thing I have to drive so its not going to happen anytime soon.

 

It's for a 2500 and it's out of my price range that's why I'm building control arms to cut down on cost.

 

U know u can just buy the long arms w all hard ware for like 550.00.
