98 Ram headlight issue...headlight switch bad?
My old F100 had the flickering headlights, drove me crazy.
Spent time searching for a short and even stumped one alleged mechanic.
Took it to a shop my dad uses and when I told them what it was doing they would not even take the keys.
It was the switch like they said; $5 and a few minutes later it was done.
The dimmer switch on that one is on the floor, the one on the turn signal may be tricky to get to.
If it is the headlight switch, There is one on Ebay right now for a 98 going for $9.99. Might be a cheap way to find out for sure. I'am gonna include the link for the ebay page here. Check it out and good luck.

The more I look, the more I have to go with my gut that its a bad switch...if I wasn't driving home from work in the dark so frequently latley... I'd jsut go for the one on Ebay.... but, oneof our local 11 Mopar dealers will have it tommorow (wed) along with my factory keyless and interchange harness I hope... I will post back about it it fits it..
Yep,it appears that the new headlight switch has fixed it.... the old one didn't have very defined clicks of position, especially the headlight "on" position...... the new one, nice fresh clicks.... lights are brighter too... almost a full volt higher at the headlight plug...
