Default Grinding noise while making sharp turn

Hello,

first I'd like to say hi to everyone in the board

I recently purchased an '96 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4, and I noticed that when I make a sharp turn I hear this awful grinding metal to metal noise. Does anyone have this problem? or anyone know the cause of it?

thank you very much !

I've got a metal on metal grinding noise in my 5.0, but that's the wheel rubbing on the a-arm due to the wider wheel. You have stock wheels? Is the tire rubbing anywhere (fender, steering components, etc)?

hello, i had the same thing happen to me in my 99 2wd 5.9, a collapsed calliper on the front drivers side brake. it would grind whenever i would turn the wheel all the way to the left, in parking lots for example.
i replaced the pads and the callipers and it hasnt happened since.

If all the parts are not rubbing and the brakes are good, it could be the CV joints. How many miles are on the truck?
