Just bought a NAPA fuel filter 3585XE, the only difference I see is the filter does not snap into the filter housing lid like the previous filter did. What does everyone else run in the cannister?

Did you mean air filter? The fuel filter on these trucks is in the fuel pump and is not serviceable.

He has a Cummins so his fuel filter is serviceable. I thank he posted in the wrong section
