Default Ok GUYS NEED SOME ADVICE

I Just got a MP pcm for my truck I got it on ebay and had to put it on to see if it worked. It did but I have not had time to put my plenum kit on yet I dont thank it is blown yet but I wanted to do the kegger mod so I am going to replace the belly pan with the hughes kit. So should I put the stock pcm back in till I put the plenum kit in or should i just leave the MP pcm in

Well the dealer's cure for the plenum leak was a death flash, correct? And doesn't that retard the timing a bit? IIRC the MP PCM advances the timing a little bit, so wouldn't that be more adverse than the stocker?

And for Bigredram I would say leave it on stock until u know for sure weather it is leaking or not.

If you were going to get around to repairing the plenum in a couple of days, then IMO you could have left it in, but if you were going to postpone a couple of weeks, then you did the right thing by putting back to stock. (Damn that hurts to type that.)

it honestly doesnt matter whether you leave it in or not. any changes that you make or anything, the pcm has to relearn anyway. so regardless if you put it in now or after you make the changes, its still gonna take that time to relearn everything anyway. either way doesn't matter. its not like its a difficult thing to install/remove anyway lol

Dont start threads like that. "Mopar PCM and Plenum Question" would have been great.

i'd leave it on, unless it causes the engine to ping/spark knock.
