Damn shame, I hate to hear of things like this - But needless deaths & injury due to improper procedure is, and always will be, a fact of life.

Thats why I posted info about the blocks, one guy might read it, keep that info in mind, and do it the right way, which literally can be the difference between life and death.

Repeat:
Cinder blocks with the holes facing up are perfectly fine to support a vehicle, you could in fact support 5 vehicles, they are amazingly strong.
They are safe stacked also, so long as all are properly set, and the holes are up.
Just the opposite if you have them holes to the side, they will not take much pressure to rupture - And that pop would be the last thing you ever hear if you are under the vehicle.
