I am having the same issue. I had my axle bearings along with the ring and pinion redone a couple weeks ago to the 4.11's but since then it's been leaking and I don't know why. I've been putting gear oil in every week just to be safe. I've replaced the pinion seal twice now and it still has leaking problems.

Sometimes warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on. Some shops are just crap. A couple of years ago I took my old Honda to a local shop to have the timing belt changed. Got it back and it sounded like crap. Took it back twice and they told me it was fine, that sometimes old Hondas run rough. Did some research and found that the belt was off by one tooth and thus was wrong timing. The shop could never get it right. Had to get it fixed at the dealer and fought the charge of the previous shop through my credit card. Sometimes you may have to go the small claims route to get your money back. That's one reason why I will never buy another vehicle with a timing belt.

^ very true. some places can't get it right the first time, and then either can't or won't get it right the second or third either. you just never know until you or someone you know actually has a problem and you can see whether they take care of it or not.

i used to have a dodge minivan that was a pita to work on. there was a local shop nearby and i had a couple of things done by them. tech "A" was good. i took it back up there for a timing belt and they had gotten busier and hired another guy and tech "B" worked on it. afterwards it didn't run right and i took it back twice. both times they said there was no problem and they wouldn't even look at it any more. so i pulled it apart and found one of the timing belts was out by one tooth. i fixed it and went back to the shop and told them what i found and i wanted a refund on the labor cost since i had to redo their work. of course, nothing good came out of it. they called me a liar and i called them dumbasses and also found out the owner was a total ********. so, if you pay by credit card you have some remaining leverage, otherwise all you've got left is complaints to BBB and/or lawsuit.
