My question is, Have you ever done anything like this before, and if not, rate the difficulty level. Just wondering for when I have to undertake mine. Also tell us how long it takes you. That was a good plan getting everything out so you can stand in the engine bay. Makes life much easier.

It will just make it take longer, unless you are also going to do some work on the front of the motor. It only took me about 5 to 6 hours without doing that. And that includes changing the cap and rotor, sparkplugs,oil pressure switch, oil and filter. I didn't have to mark any hoses , wires, sensors, etc.. because I've done enough of these, and besides, everything will only plug into one place anyway. And hoses and such are all bent so it's not hard to see where they go.

Nice clean up Snook .

Install a filter between the PCV and the intake , or , it will be dirty again in no time . A leaky plenum gasket isn't the only thing that contaminates the kegger .

Cutting the rail is very time consuming , but if you look at how the injecter sits , there is room for improvement there via a dremmel tool . Makes for a better spray pattern in the combustion chamber . I did it on my jeep which works fantastic . And get new o-rings for the injecters too .

here's a reference pic

how much could it possibly add ? after all, the TB is the input limitation and the valves and heads are the output limitation and the rest of its just a, well, a pretty aluminum balloon that oil leaks into...

yeah i didn't even bother to do it either plus i have the center divider and the egr tube built into the center.. wasn't going to cut the egr tube out of the center of the plenum ....

OK stupid question: huges plate instructions say 48 inch pounds then 84 inch pounds, my torqe wrench is in foot pounds. Cant find one that will go that low, lowest is 120 inch pounds. what did you all do? Also why not red threadlock instead of blue with these bolts hardly tightened at all?

12 in lb = 1 ft lb.
so 48 in lb = 4
84 = 7.

i did the 48 in lb by feel, and then set my torque wrench a little below the 10 lb mark and tested it on a bolt in the vise to see if it would click at what seemed about right and it did.

i think any threadlocker is ok.
