Default exhaust question

ok since everyone here owns a dodge I was at the dealer yesterday looking for a new manifold "y" pipe so i can get rid of the dual inlet cat and have a single inlet cat.
now from 94 to 99 on all 2500's they are a dual inlet
anyone that has a 1500 or a 2500 w/ stock manifolds have a single inlet cat? and if so what yr truck so i can get that one

no i DONT want headers to loud i like the way my truck has a low tone at idle and only gets loud when kicked down in passing gear. thats the way i like it

My 2001 had and still has a single 3" in/out converter, O2 before and after the cat.

I believe the change was started around the 1998 or 1999 model year for some trucks. By 2000, I believe they all had single 3" in/out cats.

DONT BUY AT THE DEALERSHIP!!!! you might as well bend over and learn to like it. there are plenty of options out there. any exhaust shop can weld something up for you however it works for your truck and to your liking.

Yes, dealerships have one purpose. When you're getting an estimate to mail into the other guy's insurance company.

$579 for a new rear bumper. Could of been $600 but only got quoted for one of the top plastic pads.
