?. I am going to the place where work is warranted due to me having buying everything there. other places wont warrant my deck/wiring harness etc. N.p.

Good luck with that dude. My experience with Best Buy has been terrible. I stopped buying anything there because any warranty issues or returns I got the third degree. My feeling was that it just isn't worth it to be treated so badly when you have a problem with one of their products. I'll pay a couple of bucks more and buy it at any other store. Most places will match their prices anyway. I'll bet that when it comes down to it they will blame your truck for any problems, not their workers.

I understand that people do not have good experiences with big box stores like that, but I am going to try them on Saturday and see what that brings. I will also just give them the day to do that and if that does not fix it I am going to get out of there and think of something else! All that I wanted to do is get a new deck! Lol, I really do thank you guys for all your help.

It depends entirely on the store and the store managers.

Oh, and BTW, don't know if this is the case here, but just for future reference for everyone...

If you expect any store to stand behind a manufacturer's warranty (not purchasing the store service plan/warranty plan), unless specifically stated they will do so, you are crazy. If its not a store warranty, and its beyond the exchange period, they can't do anything for you other than ship it to the manufacturer.

I understand that it's hit or miss with big chain stores, but Jason has it right. Unless you bought the optional service plan, or had BB install the deck in the first place, then you can't expect them to give you a free fix. Is there any chance that you can get some pics of your deck and wire setup?
