Make sure the blend door is operating correctly and not letting the heat by. And just curious, but how many cans of 134A did it take?

Under the dash in the hvac box. Maybe you didn't put it back together right or something got broke when you changed the evap core.

Other than moving the dial back and forth rapidly so you can hear it slam shut in both directions no. Plus IIRC there might be an electronic actuator on a 2001.as opposed to earlier models like mine with a cable.

When you added the fluid, did you have the AC set to max with the engine running? Also if you had the whole system drained, you might need more then 2 cans.

Most small cans are 12oz though there arer some that are bigger. The system will take 32oz (2lbs) to be correct. If you overfilled it or didn't use enough, it will not cool correctly. Overfilling could cause the compressor to lock up so be carefull with that.

OK, Thanks for all the help. I cycled the ac controls several times through the whole range, all servos are moving and all doors ar opening and shutting. When I did the test, I had it on max, fan on high, I waited 10 min for system to stabilize. my reading are on #1 post. I played with the refrigerant, I added alittle at a time until the temp started to climb. I vented until I got the coldest temp. Is it normal for the low side pressure to drop so low at 1500 rpms? I suspect the condenser need to be replaced, that it's not cooling the refrigerant properly. I'm searching for confirmation. this is a learnig evolution for us and me. so please keep going. I'm sure we can figure this out.
