Well, I live in Los Angeles so the game here is a little different. We mostly hunt illegals, homeless bums, etc. 
A gun goes off in L.A. and the PD treats you like Rodney King. NO THANKS!!! I keep mine concealed. They'll see it when I need them to see it.

I have the standard rifle version of your sniper rifle...the M44. Love that rifle, fun to shoot but after 50 rounds, gotta give the shoulder a rest. I'd like to buy a M91 one of these days but my truck is going to take all my money.
