Bud, I don't know how old you are, but take this from someone who knows where your at in life. Judging from your pics, you either just graduated High School, or you are in your first year of college. I don't know that much about you, or what you actually make.

What I do know, is the fact that your truck is 8 years old, and it's getting to the point that your going to start having issues even in stock form. Now, you go and add that lift, all your going to do is just accelerate your up coming expenses, and headaches.

I can understand how you feel right now. You have a Dodge truck, and you think it's the baddest mother ****er in town. That's great, but if I am judging your age correctly, your fixing to have a hell of a lot of expenses come up with school, commuting, hell maybe even lodging of some sort.

Just think, that truck is just a heap of metal. It's no different from mine, or everyone else's on this forum. Sooner or later, your going to get rid of it. Now, I know there is some sort of cool factor to a lift. That factor is just something I never saw, but that's beside the point. If your just lifting for the hell of it, or just for the coolness factor, then IMO, your wasting your time. Personally, I would only lift a truck if my use for it required me to set my truck higher off the ground.
Hell, you have a girl don't you? They take money! Trust me, I know this. (even the casual ones do, but we wont get in on that)

My point is, if your cash flow is fixing to cinch down, then a lift isn't the best idea in the world. Just think, what would you do if you did do this lift, and not 200 miles later, that ticking time bomb we call a transmission explodes on your ***? Then what are you going to do?

I know that your going to do what you want to do, and that my words aren't going to mean that much to ya. I just can't understand why people want to do this to their vehicles when they have very restricted cash flow, and they do it to a vehicle that's eight years old. Not to mention this is a truck that's going to be riddled with problems. Not saying Dodges are crap, but it's the truth. There isn't one vehicle on the road that doesn't have some sort of issue. The only difference is, your going to be seeing those problems sooner than most.

Also, you can ask Max, I told him roughly the same thing I told you, and hell, he went through with it anyways.
