Default find in my neck of the woods

well today i was looking around and found a 1989 dodge dakota with the shelby package, its only $1000 and basically interior needs to be done. Think this would be a good project? has a 5.2 and is turbocharged

Hell yea! Especially if it's number's matching. Anything with the Shelby name could be valuable some day. Plus its a Dodge!

That truck is rare! I would restore it to factory specs. According to this site, only 1500 were made.

the turbo is stock, i was thinking getting twin turbos on it after i finish up the body with paint and everything, i guess the bad on it today was the motor knocks a little, so a complete rebuild would be in the future

I would get a build sheet and build it back to stock with only a few resto mods for better performance. You'll get a lot more money in the long run and still have a sick ride.
