To add the overhead MPG counter in my 2001 Dodge ram? Our local junkyard recently got a 2000 Ram 1500 LOADED! Every option avaible and I would like to add it to my truck.. I know I would need the console and a sensor.. Is it worth it?

Thanks!
Ryan

It's probably easier than you think. It probably just hooks up to your Computer somehow. I'm sure one of the guys with a readout will know how.

Not hard at all I don't think. You might even have the wires tucked up under the headliner, but don't hold me to that. I know you will have the harness under the hood for the outside temp. You will need the sensor for it though.

Yeah I figured it would be really easy or really hard lol

The junkyard gives me GREAT deal on parts too. I got a nice black dash piece for mine that wasnt cracked for $5. I also got the entire fog light assembly for $10. And a Mustang GT hubcap for $5

Dang, that is one heck of a cheap Junk Yard. Grab all you can at those prices. I would even grab what I don't need and keep as spares. The inside plastics are not great and really rot out due to the heat from the sun.

lol Some of the Interiors that Chevy has make our Dodge's look like Top of the Line stuff, but then again, Most of my Interior was made by Rockford Foosgate. My mom has a 2003 Monte Carlo SS, I love the car, but the Interior is just cheap, and weak.

luckly my Dodge Dash hasnt Cracked anywhere yet (knock on wood)
