Impressive engine, Dodge.
But, wtf?!?! Stupid hics...
Should make them run around the city of Phoenix without water for two days. Doubt they'll last as long...
And a government program that lets you trade up to a new car for marginally better MPGs? And probably higher maintenance costs... lol...

I hope that was a traded in vehicle or that was a big waste. The program requires that the vehicle be driven in, not towed. Big waste of taxpayer money. Same as Fannie Mae did for housing. Put people who can't afford it into another car payment. And none of this will kickstart the auto production lines. The vehicles they're selling are the ones that have been piling up in dealer inventory for the past year. It may help dealers to get some cash to pay their flooring, but it won't help Detroit much at all.

I agree with all you guys, that really sucks. It was amazing how long that motor lasted, but I'd bet the new ones wouldn't last that long. That's why whenever one of the guys here criticizes what terrible power these motors have or what not, I gotta laugh. I'd rather have a strong durable motor than one that has power but dies at 90K. These may be old 60 tech, but they are good motors. Like you all said pickups shouldn't be in the program, but they are actually the target of the program. These damned libs hate our trucks. I 'll bet these trucks will become collectors items in a few years. You'll only be able to buy a Toyota 4cyl if they keep down this road. Thank your runaway government powered by liberals. You all who voted for Obama, hope you enjoy the ride, cause the rest of us sure don't. The next thing you know they will make V8's illegal claiming they pollute too much or burn too much oil.
BTW The site sucks ***** lately. I don't see new posts and I don't see my subscribed sites. Every time I log in it tells me "Nothing new" then I have to read each post to pick out what's new. What a pain in the rear.

I hope that a$$hole gets out of that truck licks up that oil. The only thing I would trade my 360 in for would be a 6.7 cummins. And It probably would be a 07, because thats before they were de-tuned for emissions. Brand new trucks really are not worth it after tags, depreciation, financing, and interest. I would like to see a diesel that was also an electric, and the motor kicked in when you needed it.

What an utter and total waste. They should at least part out the "clunkers" at an auto salvage yard so the people who really cannot afford to buy a new anything can at least keep their old cars going. 10k for a new car/truck is still to much money for most people. This is only going to hurt us in the long run.
