this has been happening on my truck lately. every time i turn the steering wheel back and forth...i've been feeling a small bump in my floor board. i slightly remember someone saying something about this before, but i can't remember nor find the thread. does anyone know what this might be? thanks!

Could it be the tierods? Or the steering damper needs to be replaced.

bumping in the floorboard can be loose lower shock bolt. they're right under your feet. tighten to 100 lbs, which takes an impact wrench, or a heavy pull bar and some muscle. this is usually felt when going over bumps, not just turning back and forth.

check the shocks, but if its not that, put it up on jack stands and have an assistant turn the wheel, while you look and feel for the bump. moving parts are ball joints, tie rods, track bar.

it would have to be. 100 in/lbs is nothing.

how about just a regular wrench, 100 lbs isn't that much.
