Anything is possible but I doubt it. The pump may have to seen better days and running it dry may have helped put it over the edge. You need a gauge to test it and check power as suggested by others here.

Got it workin. I have no idea what happened to it but this morning i went out to try it again and it still wouldnt start. on the last try and pushed the gas pedal and it fired right up and as soon as i let off the pedal it died. that made me thing the tps sensors was jacked. i tried it a few times and it kept doing the same thing. i reset the ecu and it was fine after that. idk how to explain the lack of fuel pressure in the fuel rail but it came back as soon as i hit the pedal i guess. i have no idea what or how it happened but it works now.
