RE: increasing mpg?
Do a tune up and make sure your tires are inflated properly. Since I know you know that...Only other thing I read was (and Im trying to remember this) something about putting new O2 sensors in. I might be wrong but its worth doing a google search on that topic and check. I hear a flowmaster helps alittle. I get 13mpg in city with 265-70-16's on a 2000 5.2l If you have 285's chop off 1-2mpg I think. Thank god I live 4 miles from work or Id be driving a honda civic lol.

Tornado fuel savers are a waste of money. They will not help a throttle body equiped Ram, maybe hurt it. Maybe if you have a carburetor, but that is a big maybe. Look elsewhere for improvements in fuel mileage. Proper tire inflation, exhaust and intake improvements which you have already done, and proper tune.

check the basics. Make sure everything is in good repair. I mentioned in the other topic that my mileage was hurting until I checked my cat convertor out and it ended up being all busted up inside. I replaced all my O2's and such while I was at it. Before I started having problems and since I got it fixed I got about 18+ on the highway and about 14-16 in town. It's all about how you drive it and how it's equipped. I have 245 75 16's on it with 3.55's in the back.

RE: increasing mpg?
Earlier this week I just checked the pressure and they were around 30-40 psi. Read the tire and it said like 65 max.
So I filled them up to 60 psi to stay on the safe side. But anyway, I noticed a big difference on the highway. Traveling back and forth to work before the truck would always downshift in certain spots.. ok fine. But after i filled the tires up with more pressure i noticed that the truck did not downshift in those same spots.. So, im sure that its getting better gas mileage. Dont know yet as i am sill on the same tank.
Only bad side is that its quit a bit more bumpier.. But i can live with the bumps if it helps out my gas mileage.. Especially with the gas prices nowadays! Anyway, just a though.

i'm not sure it's a good idea to fill up your tires that much. when they get hot, they're probably getting a lot more pressure in them... generally anything over 40 psi only kills your tire wear and increases the risk of a tire blowing out...

I've always ran pressure on the high side with my past trucks. Been good so far (knock on wood). The tires just did not look that low. One was like below 35psi. Put them all at 58-60psi and am enjoying the ride. So far, 150 miles and 3/4 of a tank left. Im sure its bound to start dropping quick though.
I think before the MOST i got out of a tank was like around 220-225 miles.
