Default What is the Correct amount of Friction Modifier for 9.25 rear?

So, I'm replacing the fluid in my chrysler 9.25 rear. I've looked online and...of course...I've found much discrepancy with regard to the amount of friction modifier needed. From my searches, I've seen as low as 4 oz to as much as 8 oz.

Please let me know what is the correct amount to use.

thanks,
pf

7-8oz is fine, but only needed if you have an LSD.

Just squirt the whole tube in there. But do it before the oil. ( that's what she said)

I'm pretty sure I used 2 bottles of the Ford Friction Modifier the last time I did it. I have the Auburn LSD and it recommends the Ford Friction Modifier. I think the are 4oz each. When I had the stock one I just used Royal Purple oil that already had it in there. So I can't comment on how much I put it in with the stock lsd. The Auburn says not to use synthetic oil so I use Lucas oil and the Ford friction modifier.
