I am guessing it's a ground issue. Did you try to run a dedicated ground to test each one?

I ran the ground to the battery to see if they worked.

i have a 3rd gen recon wiring harness im looking at, and it has a common ground for all 5 lights

i would recheck your wires, double check you didn't cross any, especially if you used one color for both power and ground

If someone asked you to wire something for them and you know they have tried. Is it wrong to ask for a pic to see what you may be dealing with or to say your doing it wrong try it this way?

I just want some opnions on this beings it seems to be such a horrible thing to ask some people

Try running a dedicated hot wire from the battery then. Maybe you are using poor power source. If that's not it I'm stumped.
