I really don't think they have clips,(speeds may have been replaced already) they need to be ground off, at least they did on my 98. They changed lots of little things on these rigs year to year, so who knows.

Nah, looks like they're pressed into place. I think I can get away with pounding it out, getting a bronze bushing replacement, and reusing the original pin. As soon as I get around to it I'll post up some pics.

Just get the kit from autozone or wherever, I wouldn't do any drilling if I was you. I would give you the HELP! part# , but it's in the garage, and I don't want to venture down the stairs yet on these damn crutches.
