Default Bump Stops

I have a 3" lift on the front of my truck has anybody know what should I do about getting new bump stops?

youll prob never even hit them....only time ive heard of messing with bumpstops is for lowering

they keep the axle from hitting the frame, you shouldn't need to mess with them unless they are damaged.

But shouldn't I consider getting longer stops since I have a 3" lift, Daystar has a 5 1/2" bump stop. Stock size is 2-1/4" to 2-1/2". I don't think I want to compress the shocks or decompress the coil to much.

I know it would only happen if I jumped the truck Duke style.

if you compress your suspension that much, You either need new suspension parts or you have done something REALLY wrong adn it wont matter much. i wouldnt worry about them.

You do not need new bump stops. The only way you would need them is if you were running the truck prerunner style and I don't forsee that in your near future.lol

I suppose the only real reason why you'd need them is to prevent from damaging your springs. You shouldn't have a problem in the front at all. The rears you won't touch unless you had weight in the back and hit it pretty hard. I did not get longer ones for mine and haven't had an issue (knock on wood).
