Default Needin some help guys.

First: When i accelerate in into the 55mph+ or if i floor it if i have my air conditioner/vent on it will cut off and my defrost will start blowing. Also sometimes when i start my truck after having it off, my air conditioner will not blow cold air but sometimes if i floor it or accelerate just enough to get it to do the other problem stated first then it will blow cold but this is most of the time. Next will long tubes fit a 2WD 1500 with the 5.2L? I have been looking and those that I have found only fir 4WD models. Any help is appreciated.

Your ac/vent issue is a vacuum issue. I forget who but someone has done a checkvalve fix on this before. try searching for vacuum check valve.

Thanks speeddemon31176, I don't know much about these trucks. I was a Ford truck guy before I bought this one.

check valves in vac lines on passenger side of engine, in/around manifold and firewall. might be 2 or 3 of them, about the size of a nickel or quarter, not very thick, maybe 1/2in.

Also if you have cruise control and it's not working , there is another hose under the battery tray.

You can also pick this part up at your dealer. It's a MOPAR specific part only, so either get it from the dealer, or that website. It's only like $10.00

Here is the link to my thread showing where I hooked it up at. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen-...ild-vents.html

Good luck!

It is a Jeep part, so a Dodge dealer might look at you kinda funny. Be prepared for them to not have in stock.
