Default A/C help please

Need help with my air conditioner. Its fu#%$$# hot here!

I could not get the compressor to turn on to fill the system with refrigerant so I jumpered the compressor straight to the battery and filled the system to spec. It is holding good pressure and blowing ice cold air now as long as I keep the compressor powered up. All the fuses are good, not sure about the relay or how to even check it.

Any Idea what I need to replace to get this thing running right?

Thanks

Disconnect the low side pressure switch and put a paperclip in the two holes in the harness connector and see if it stays running for you without having to apply 12 volts to the compressor the way you are now. If it does then your low side switch is faulty. If that doesn't work do the same thing with the high pressure switch. It is one of those to pressure switches or the relay which is in the underhood compartment by the battery.
