I thought SeaFoam was for high mileage vehicles. I can just open the TB and pour the Seafoam down into it???

I am familar with seafoam, Ive got some in the garage. I use it on small engines, weedeater, mower yada yada. I guess it couldnt hurt.

Sludge? I'm starting to think the only way to check it is by removing it, plain and simple. I've heard it all on this forum, and my self included thought mine was good by all the tests. I finally had nothing to do one weekend and decided to install my Hughes plate. When I took it apart the gasket was blown. So there is really only one way to know.

Mine looked fine to from the top, with only a few splatters of oil, until I took mine off. Half a quart, I swear, was in there where I couldn't see it.

Bottom line: if you own a 1994-2001 Dodge Ram 1500, and haven't replaced your plenum plate and gasket yet, IT IS LEAKING, replace it. Don't delude yourself like I did into a false sense of security thinking its fine, its not.

You are just as prone to leakage as everyone else with the magnum.
