Default Timing cover bolt order

Does anyone know how to find the bolt pattern and bolt lengths for each bolt in the timing cover? My friend ripped my ordering tape off so I would know where they go and he put the wrong bolt in the wrong hole and now I don't know where they go. If anyone can post a pic or a guide I'm just afraid something bad could happen from this.. I'm a very organized person and I am very upset with him because I don't know where anything goes.. Thanks..

Dude , I feel your pain. I'm like that too, and if a friend of mine did that, I'd stick his head in with the timing chain and find his TDC ! I don't where you are going to find that info, other than being lucky enough to find some one here that took pics when they did the job.

don't panic.
the stud goes up on the top right, for the grounds, might have something to do with ps pump too. for the others, look at the length. the 4 long ones go on the water jackets at the top. put some rtv on those threads. i think all the others are the same, but if they're not, use the casting thickness as a guide to get about 1/2" or so of thread contact.

I didn't even keep mine in order I was hoping to remember where they all go. That was when I thought it would only be apart for a week or 2.

You get that Plate yet or is it still looking at tomorrow for delivery?

Could someone do me a favor and run outside and just take some pictures off the bolts behind the harmonic balancer please? I'd be willing to paypal you a dollar for your trouble. It's on A 98 1500 5.9L
