Glad the luck was on your side that day man... that could have been a bad one.


Thats just one story with proof that carrying a fire extinguisher in a vehicle is very wise choice. Its money very well spent if you ask me.

I pulled the hose off and turns out that a squirel chewed the hose. He must have got a mouth full of gasoline when he bit through the line. I hope that was the only thing he chewed on. So far everything works. If anyone else has the issue, the rubber hose that goes between the fuel rails is 1/4" High pressure fuel injection line. Carquest had a 2ft section and wanted $24 for it. I found the same hose at autozone for $6. They say that you don't need hose clamps. I would tend to agree because once you push the hose on, it does not come off, but I Put two on just in case.
