Post stalling issues

I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 9.5 Magnum. It starts up and runs good but then as you put it in gear it immediately stalls out. I am totally stumped. Any ideas what could be causing this?

can you keep it running if you play with the throttle as you put it into gear?
