do the front speakers have grilles on them? when i put my dads new speakers in i noticed that if they didn't have grilles on them that the door panel would get hit every time the bass hit.

congrats. now start looking at amps and put you in one about a 200-400 watt. that'll really perk things up. maybe even get a sub and sub amp if you like that kind of thing.

theres no grill on them but i think they are far enough back that it wont hit the door panel. ya i want to get an amp and a sub, just to give it the all around sound for any type of music, im not to picky on the music, just like good sound.

I've had 2 sets up front and never noticed that and neither had grilles. If they did hit the door panel I couldn't tell it. Both sets I've had up front were 6.5" speakers though not 6x9s.

the 3 way speakers with the tweeter that pokes out in the center are the ones that could develop a problem from the door panel resting on them. and if the cone were to smack the panel with each bass hit it could get annoying pretty quick.

put a picture in your signature on the user control panel. its the link in the top left corner of every page that says user cp. after you click that then you'll click on edit signature.
13. Signature images must be limited to 500 WIDE by 250 TALL at the MAX. and i believe they have to be less than 300kb.
