Sway bar bushing replacements
I want to get a set of the Energy Suspension bushings for my front end, but they have 30mm and 32mm kits listed. How do I know which one I have? Does this refer to the diameter of the sway bar? If so, would it be safe to assume that since I have a V10 2500 that it has the beefier 32mm bar? Is it possible that one size is for the front and the other for the rear? Which would be which?
Yes sir they are referring to the diameter of the sway bar. You have to measure your swaybar to determine the correct set of bushings for your truck. I checked over the energy suspension website and it lists multiple part numbers for front and back. It also doesn't seem to matter what size engine you have as the same part number corresponds to all different engine and class sizes of trucks.
32mm in both my Indy and V10.
Energy Suspension grrrrr. Still havent got my motor/trans in cause of those ******. My own stupidity for ordering 4x4 bushings, but the 4x2 bushings of coarse were back ordered. I finally get a set 2weeks ago and the dumb SOB's had put the wrong size sleeves in for the upper c arms. Lower arms had the right ones. Placed first order (Summit) back at the end of June. Still waiting on the new sleeves from those fkrs.
FYI, the gold/yellowish anodized finish on their stuff looks like pure crap. I coated the end links and caps as well as the brackets for the sway bar.
