new and need help
I have a '01 ram 1500 3.9L and have done a diagnostic on my truck and it says i need to replace my o2 sensor on bank one. having 165000 miles on my truck i just decided to replace all 3 of them. I have found the two near the C.C. (of course these would be the ones that are still good) I cannot find the third one that should be on the "drivers side" any ideas on where to look. i have taken off my air filter and its not behind my intake from what i can see and its not on the pipes anywhere. Please help i dont want to go to a shop for something i can do myself.
They usually only have two of them I thought.
When can go down to Auto zone and have them double check with there computer and I also that you have them reset it and that usually fixes the problem right after you have replaced both of them.
I try that first.

I Thought the California rams had 4? 2 precats and 2 post cats? Being a truck built for sale in cali is really the only reason you would have 4 O2 sensors. IF you swear you have three, we would love a copy of the build sheet.
I would start looking on the driver's side section of the exhaust, but I really don't think you have more than 2 sensors. Never trust what a dealer tells you.
Hell, the dealer up here couldn't even tell me where my AATS sensor plugged in at.
